Hello Speech Therapy, PLLC is a family centered speech and language therapy practice, with a focus on supporting children's needs through play and evidence-based practices. From helping toddlers with their first words to helping school aged children master grade-level language skills, all children learn best when they feel connected and engaged. MEET THE CLINICIAN: Heather Reynolds, MS, CCC-SLP EDUCATION East Carolina University, Master of Communication Sciences and Disorders University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Bachelor of Communication Studies IN THE FIELD Heather is a certified speech language pathologist and has worked with children and adults in a variety of settings over the past decade. She has become particularly passionate about her work with toddler to preschool-aged children and is an advocate for early intervention. She has ten years' experience working with the pediatric population and has worked extensively with numerous conditions and deficits including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation delays, fluency disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and apraxia. As a parent of 3 under 3, Heather prides herself in working closely with parents and caregivers in order to empower and support their abilities to continue growth and connection at home. PERSONAL INTERESTS Heather founded Hello Speech Therapy in January 2023 in hopes of offering families more flexibility and collaboration. She currently lives in New Bern, NC with her husband, three year old daughter, and two year old twins. When she is not in a therapy session, she can be found outside on the beach, hiking the local trails, or planning the next family adventure.
